Dr. Mallory was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and joined the Digestive Health Clinic in 2003. He received his undergraduate education at Amherst College, graduating with a degree in English literature. He then completed medical school at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, and his internship and residency at the University of Washington-School of Medicine in Seattle. Dr. Mallory completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Washington-School of Medicine, where he obtained training in advanced therapeutic endoscopy. He is board-certified in gastroenterology. Dr. Mallory has published extensively in the gastroenterology literature, and is the current director of endoscopy at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology as well as a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Gastroenterological Association.
