Dr. Brimhall joined the Digestive Health Clinic in 2019. He grew up in Provo, Utah and attended Brigham Young University as an undergraduate. After graduating from the University of Utah Medical School with honors, he completed an Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Colorado where he served as both Chief Medical Resident and Chief Fellow. Dr. Brimhall did an additional year in advanced endoscopy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which included advanced endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), stent management, complex polyp removal and other specialized procedures. Dr. Brimhall is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and is active in the education of medical students and residents. He has published extensively in the field of gastroenterology. He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.
