Following his graduation, he completed a postdoctoral research year at Duke University, where his work focused on investigating novel orthotopic colorectal cancer models.

His clinical interests encompass a broad range of complex gastrointestinal & liver disorders, with a special interest in Barrett’s esophagus, inflammatory bowel diseases, and early GI cancers. Dr. Joseph is passionate about combining advanced clinical & procedural expertise with a patient-first approach to digestive health and wellness. He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has authored numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Joseph and his wife, a pediatrician, have one daughter. He enjoys biking, cooking, playing tennis, and traveling with his family.
