Shannon Bordes is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) with experience in family practice and urgent care. She earned her FNP at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She grew up in Illinois, and attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for undergraduate and DePaul University for graduate school. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a nurse in the emergency room, operating room, and in academia.
She is currently working towards earning her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) through Johns Hopkins University. She also serves on the executive board for the Nurse Practitioners of Idaho.
Shannon is married, the mother of twins, and has several family pets. She enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, gardening, crafting, traveling, camping, and boating with family.
