Meaghan Nelson is a board-certified PA, graduating with her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University. She grew up in Iowa and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Iowa State University while also competing for the Cross-Country and Track and Field teams, garnering multiple All-American honors. Upon graduation, Meaghan moved to Boise to pursue a post-collegiate running career and helped assist with coaching the Boise State University Cross-Country and Track teams.
After completing her Master’s Degree from Idaho State University in Meridian, Meaghan moved to Williamsburg, Virginia, where she began her practice in the field of gastroenterology before returning to Boise in 2023. She possesses a passion for helping others and firmly believes in listening and assisting her patients in their healthcare decisions.
When not at work, Meaghan enjoys running the trails in the Boise foothills, camping in the mountains, playing and watching sports, live music, and spending time with friends and family.
